One size fits all: Other systems are designed to fit certain patients. An Example: two different devices for different chest size ranges. The BULLSEYE LIFTING DEVICE is universal, one size fits all up to 800 pounds
Weight Distribution: Straps distribute a heavy load across your shoulders and torso, preventing any single muscle group from overexerting.
Injury Prevention: By encouraging an upright posture and reducing the need to bend or twist, harnesses lower the risk of back strains, herniated discs, and muscle fatigue.
Hands-Free Stability: Shoulder systems leave your hands free to balance the patient, open doors, or use handrails for safety.
Lower Center of Gravity: Straps lift from underneath the patient, lowering its center of gravity and making it easier to control patient.
Increased Capacity: A team of two using a harness can safely lift patients that might otherwise be impossible to move by hand, such as refrigerators, pianos, or large sofas.
Enhancements of using the harnesses
Using the BULLSEYE harness lifting straps for patient handling allows two people to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 800lbs.
While it does not technically increase your physical strength, the leverage and ergonomic design make heavy, awkward items feel 66% lighter.
Weight Capacity and Physical Benefits
Capacity Range: The BULLSEYE LIFTING DEVICE i9s rated for 800 lbs. Our heavy-duty systems, the BULLSEYE ULTRA, is rated up to 1,600 lbs.
Weight Reduction: By using your shoulders and legs rather than your arms and back, the weight of the patient feels roughly 66% lighter than lifting it by hand.
Reduced Physical Strain: Studies show that using these straps reduces spinal compression forces by up to 50%.
Injury Prevention: Using a harness can reduce the risk of lower back injuries by up to 80% compared to manual lifting.
How They Work
Leverage and Mechanics: The harness uses a 2-inch wide strap that attaches to a "Sling/Seat" that goes under the patient and the harnesses goes over the caregiver's' shoulders, allowing them to use their legs and shoulders (the strongest muscles) for lifting.
Increased Stability: The straps improve balance and control, preventing the patient from shifting while maneuvering around corners or going up/down stairs.
Hands-Free Maneuvering: Unlike carrying a a patient with your hands, the BULLSEYE LIFTING DEVICE keeps your arms/hands free to stabilize the patient, open doors, and navigate, reducing the risk of dropping the them.
Key Limitations
Not a Superpower: The harness does not make you stronger than you already are; it merely helps you use your body more efficiently and safely.
Requires a Partner: These systems are designed for 2-person teams to distribute weight evenly.
